Very rarely do gamers get to enjoy a nice freebie for a game that they like but Sea of Thieves players will be happy to hear about this particular freebie.

The full Sea of Thieves Spartan Ship Set that is inspired by Halo is currently available as a freebie to any player that logs in to the game. Anyone that plays the game during Gamescom this week (between the 20^th of August and 11PM BST on the 24^th of August) will be able to earn the complete set.

All you have to do is startup Sea of Thieves and load into an active game session for at least 5 minutes on either Adventure mode or Arena to qualify for this great freebie. Once you have done that, the set will be added to your account within 72 hours of you playing the game.

• Spartan Figurehead
• Spartan Flag
• Spartan Sails
• Spartan Hull
• Spartan Wheel
• Spartan Capstan
• Spartan Cannons

The promotional items were last given away for a limited time period back in June when E3 was in town. However, players will still be able to claim this offer and add the wheel, capstan, and cannons to their set. Players that don’t have any of the items from E3 will get the full set.

Once you have received the Spartan Ship Set, you will find most of the items in the ship customization chest. However, to use the Spartan flag, you will need to “climb up to the crow’s nest of your ship and open up the Ship Flag Box to find it”.
