As the month of March comes to an end, PlayStation Plus subscribers will be eagerly awaiting to find out what new game titles will be joining the PlayStation Plus monthly games for April. PlayStation has revealed that the two games to join the line-up will be Conan Exiles and The Surge.

Conan Exiles

Conan Exiles will be a favourite for survival-game enthusiasts. The game is an open-world survival game set in the lands of Conan the Barbarian and will have players try to survive in the world, build their kingdom and dominate their enemies in "brutal combat and epic warfare".

Survivors will have to start with nothing but their bare hands, build a clan from the ground up, wage war using swords, bows, siege weapons. Players will also have the ability to take control of giant avatars of Gods and destroy & cause havoc to enemy towns and cities.

But it won't just be the destruction of towns that you will experience, players will also be able to explore a vast and seamless world that is full of challenges and opportunities. Additionally, animals will be able to be hunted and secrets left to be discovered deep underground.

Conan Exiles will be available to be experienced both as a single-player experience and as a persistent online multiplayer.

The Surge

The Surge, on the other hand, is slightly different. The game, developed by Deck 13, starts off at CREO, "a futuristic corporate complex dedicated to the development of tomorrow's most cutting-edge technology" where you will be knocked conscious. When you wake up, you will find a largely destroyed section of the complex "surrounded by malfunctioning machines and robots gone haywire".

Players, now fitted with an exoskeleton and a few weapons that you will need to scavage from the area, will need to battle their way out whilst taking on enemies, colossal bosses and hazardous environments.

PlayStation 4 players will also have access to purchase exclusive content that includes a CREO PSD4 limited rig and a Cobalt control rod.

Both Conan Exiles and The Surge will be available to download from the PlayStation Store on the 2nd of April and available to download until the 1st of May.

Gamers also still have time to download the PlayStation Plus titles for the month of March which was Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered and The Witness. These titles will be available to download until the 1st of April.
