After the new addition of the seasonal model for Sea of Thieves, players can wave goodbye to the first-ever Season and enjoy Season 2 of Sea of Thieves.

The developers promised that this brand new model for the game will see the addition of new enemies, events, and features on a regular basis and Season 2 has brought exactly that and much more.

The largest addition with the latest Season will see the introduction of Forts of Fortune to the game. Keep an eye out for the scarred Skull Cloud that will indicate the location of a Fort of Fortune, set o to be a “rare sight on the Sea of Thieves”. Forts of Fortune will give players a more challenging set of enemy waves, with Captains set to appear more frequently. “The final waves will pit crews against savage Skeleton Lords before they finally face up to an even fiercer foe.”

Successfully handle a Fort of Fortune to access the Vault which will be stocked with highly prized rewards including Athena’s Fortune reputation from the Chest of Legends, Kegs of Ancient Black Powder, Crates of Legendary Voyages, Villainous Skulls of Ancient Fortune and Gilded Relics of Ancient Fortune.

If that was not enough excitement to look forward to, players that progress through Season 2 will be rewarded with a range of goods including the Lucky Hand clothing set, unique Season 2 specials and time-limited Ocean Deep collectables.

Make sure to progress to level 13 to get your hands on the brand new Barrel Disguise Emote. This emote will allow players to hide as a barrel on another ship. It will be up to you to choose what to do once you have fooled your fellow pirates.

Are you looking forward to progressing through Season 2 of Sea of Thieves? And will you be using the new Barrel Disguise emote?
