The October lineup for the PlayStation Plus free games have been unveiled and players will be able to enjoy The Last of Us Remastered and MLB The Show 19.

Players will be waiting patiently for The Last of US Part II and to celebrate the release, players will be able to enjoy The Last of Us Remastered before the launch of the next chapter.

Players will enter a world 20 years after a pandemic that has radically changed civilisation. Infected humans are running wild and many fight each other for basic necessities.

The game will see Joel, a survivor, who has been hired to smuggle Ellie out of an oppressive military quarantine zone, go on a “brutal journey across the U.S”.

MLB The Show 19

Baseball fan? Swing for the fences with MLB The Show 19 where you can “play the sport your way”.

With moments, players will be able to relive the biggest MLB moments in history including being able to recreate some of the most famous plays and showdowns in baseball history.

Or feel free to create your very own baseball player with Road to the Show to rise through the MLB ranks.

The game will be receiving some new content in October that will include legendary Ted Williams and the ability to unlock a range of rewards. Additionally, make sure to log in during the month of October to receive some free- in-game content.

The two hits from Worldwide Studios will be available to download from the 1^st of October until the 4^th of November. Until then, subscribers will have a chance to download both Batman: Arkham Knight and Darksiders III, both of which were apart of September’s PlayStation Plus lineup.
