Overcooked: All You Can Eat Announced For PS5 & Xbox Series X

Posted Jul 20, 2020 by DarthHazard

If you’ve been enjoying playing around in the kitchen in either Overcooked or Overcooked 2, prepare for some more food-related mayhem in Overcooked: All You Can Eat.

The new title will combine both Overcooked games into one game for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, with a release date set for later this year.

The game will feature every level from the original Overcooked, Overcooked 2, and their DLC. You will also be able to enjoy cross-platform multiplayer so that no one is left behind when messing around in the kitchen.

It’s not just old content though as there will be seven brand new levels, three new playable chefs, and some secret new features. You’ll be able to enjoy all of this at 60 frames per second in 4K. Shorter load times will also be present although that is to be expected from the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.

A whole host of new accessibility features will be arriving as well including color blindness options, dyslexia-friendly text, and a scalable user interface to ensure that everyone can enjoy the Overcooked franchise. A new mode dubbed assist mode will also be arriving. This will allow players to add time to rounds, ensure that recipes don’t expire quickly or even skip certain levels.

All You Can Eat will be released digitally and physically although an actual release date hasn’t been confirmed as yet.
