No New Major Consoles For Atleast 2 Years Predicts Ubisoft

The boss of publisher Ubisoft has stated that they do not expect a new PlayStation or Xbox console to arrive anytime before the Christmas of 2019.
This Christmas will be the fourth Christmas for gamers with the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One. Considering that there was a seven-year gap between the PlayStation 3 and the PlayStation 4, it is no surprise that we are yet to hear anything regarding the next generation of consoles just yet. Yves Guillemot, boss of Ubisoft said, "As Sony launched PlayStation 4 Pro last year and Microsoft Xbox One X this year, we think we still have a minimum of two years in front of us before something new is coming".
Gamers will have to wait and see whether we get an upgraded version of current consoles as the next generation or whether we get a completely brand new console. Do you think Sony or Microsoft will release any information soon?

I'd be very happy with a PS4. If a new console does come out, let's hope Sony makes it so you can play PS4 games on it!!

PS4 Pro and xBox One X both do 4K Ultra (I think), so I agree. :)
