Ninja Gets Skin With Latest Fortnite Battle Royale Update

The latest Fortnite Battle Royale update is here (v11.40) and with it arrives a brand new skin for you to purchase from the Item Shop – Ninja!

The Fortnite Icon Series will bring a host of real-life personalities to the game and the series has kicked off with the biggest Fortnite streamer of all them all, Ninja. It’s been suggested that Ninja would get his very own skin for a while and it’s finally happened. The skin and item set will be available to purchase from the in-game shop from 7 PM EST (Thursday 16th January).

The set will include the Ninja Outfit, Ninja’s edge Back Bling, Dual Katanas Pickaxe and Ninja Style Emote. And the outfit really does look like Ninja, featuring his trademark blue hair, headband and branding.

“The Icon Series brings the artistic vision, personality, and attitude of top creators to Fortnite, building on previous collaborations with Marshmello and Major Lazer.”

This won’t be a one-off either as Epic Games has teased us with some other big names that will be arriving as Icon Series collaborations including Loserfruit and TheGrefg.

The v11.40 update has introduced Sidegrading. This will allow you to use Upgrade Machines to “Sidegrade” your Assault Rifle into a Heavy Assault Rifle (in non-competitive playlists only). The material cost for upgrading weapons at Upgrade Machines has also been reduced.

Various bugs have also been resolved including the issue where players that were editing quickly remaining in Edit mode.

Are you looking forward to seeing what Icon Series collaborations arrive in the future? And will you be purchasing the Ninja Outfit and Item Set? Leave your thoughts in the comments below.
