Daybreak Games have announced that will be hosting H1Z1's first ever free-to-play week from December 14 to December 21.

The battle royale shooter will be available to download and play in full for free for the entire week for gamers who are yet to try out or buy the game. The free-to-play week will begin on December 14 (this Thursday) and will end on December 21. Gamers that enjoy their experience during the free-to-play game will also be given a 75% discount to buy the game through Steam. The game can be download for free through Steam.

Gamers playing the game for free will be able to access the full game including solos, duos, fives, Combat Zone and anything else that is present in the full version of the game. Those that decide to purchase the game will also have any progression carried over when they purchase the game.

Players will also be able to enjoy the holiday season in-game with "Wreck the Halls!". Any player that finishes 30th or better in any holiday event match will be able to obtain a four-piece holiday themed outfit throughout the month of December.
