Gunfight 2v2 Multiplayer Mode For COD Modern Warfare Revealed

Posted Jul 12, 2019 by DarthHazard

Call of Duty Modern Warfare will have something brand new for gamers this year, a quick paced 2v2 deathmatch that might be over before you have time to react.

Activision has revealed a look into the brand new multiplayer mode. The premise of the game is extremely simple. You will be in a team with another player and will have to fight it out against another team of two in small custom maps. The slight twist is that all players and both teams will have the same loadout so it will be skill and your reaction time that will separate you from each other. Additionally, the loadout for players will change every two rounds. The first team to win six rounds will win the overall game mode.

Gunfight is meant to be a quick paced and unforgiving game mode and it will certainly be that as players won’t be able to heal and there will only be 40 seconds per round. If there is still a tie at the end of the round, there are a few possibilities to still win the round including:

  • Capturing a flag that will appear within the 10 seconds of extra overtime
  • Take out the opposing team (within the 10 seconds)
  • At the end of the 10 seconds, have the most health between you and your team mate

The loadout that you will have will be a typical loadout that you are used to in other game modes and will feature a primary weapon, a secondary weapon, a tactical grenade and lethal equipment (like a frag grenade).
