Blizzard has announced an HD remake of their highly successful Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos title.
During the opening ceremony for this year's BlizzCon, Blizzard announced the remaster of Warcraft 3: Reins of Chaos. The new cinematic trailer was shown during the event along with a gameplay trailer. Titled Warcraft III: Reforged, Blizzard says the game will launch in 2019.
This remaster brings a lot to the table. Redone artwork, UI improvements, totally remodelled characters and environments and more. The game will also bring back the beloved modding World Editor tool that started the MOBA genre and has brought life to some of the biggest games to date.
You can pre-order the game now for $39.99 on battle.net or $49.99 for the Spoils of War Edition that includes in-game goodies for your other favourite Blizzard games. The game will include both Reins of Chaos and the Frozen Throne expansion pack.
This year at the convention, the show floor has the Culling Campaign story that will allow the attendees of BlizzCon the chance to play a live demo. The Culling of Stratholme was a major event in Warcraft history.
