Fortnite V10.31 Patch Introduces Party Hub

Posted Sep 19, 2019 by DarthHazard

The latest Fortnite patch has arrived and with it arrives a brand new feature that will help with interacting with your Fortnite friends.

The Party Hub that arrives with this patch will allow players to “link up with your friends as you prepare to drop into Fortnite”. This is a new feature for Fortnite Mobile that will allow you to voice chat with your party before jumping in game on any platform.

“Grab some friends, party up and let your voice be heard!”

To get started, all you have to do is update to the latest version of Fortnite on your mobile device. And what’s great is that the majority of mobile devices can download this app to use as a method of communication even if their device does not have the requirements to run and play Fortnite Battle Royale.

Furthermore, Epic plans to expand this Party Hub further by introducing a messaging function in the future.

In other changes, the Star Wand and AC/DC Pickaxe has been re-enabled after an issue where they were not dealing the correct amount of damage has been fixed.

The Final Storm Circle will no longer be positioned over Moisty Palms, Greasy Grove, Tilted Town, Retail Row or Pressure Plant in both core and Arena modes.

Players will be able to enjoy Ziplines again after an issue with them were resolved. Additionally, Support-a-Creators codes now work with real-money offers in the game as well.

Will you be looking forward to using the Party Hub with Fortnite? Or will you continue to use the in-game voice chat on your console? Leave your thoughts in the comments below.
