Cyberpunk 2077 Delayed. Again!

Posted Jun 18, 2020 by DarthHazard

Don’t click away, you’re not reading an old article. Cyberpunk 2077 has been delayed from its already delayed release date of 17th September to the 19th of November.

The announcement came from the official Cyberpunk Twitter account and cites that CD Projekt Red does not want to “ship something which is not ready”.

It continues on to say that they want to “properly go through everything, balance game mechanics and fix a lot of bugs. A huge world means a huge number of things to iron out and we will spend the additional time doing exactly that”.

This is the second delay for Cyberpunk 2077 although this is less of a lengthy delay with the first one being delayed from its original release date of 16th of April.

Players won’t have to wait too long for glimpses at the game though. The Night City Wire will be released on the 25th of June, with previews from journalists that have had a chance to play the game also being released right after.

What are your thoughts on the second delay of Cyberpunk 2077? Are you happy that the developers are focused on ensuring everything is great for the game's launch? Leave your thoughts in the comments below.
