YouTubers are now making a lot less revenue from their videos because of a couple of factors. Firstly, "ad-friendly" changes have meant that if you have "offensive" content then you will be demonetized. And the other big factor is that advertisers have started leaving YouTube because of the fact that some of their videos are appearing on offensive videos. No company wants to be advertised on an ISIS video.

Have you started earning less or noticed a change in earnings?

Advertisers are returning to youtube due to Adsense doing changes to make it's ads appear in proper place. The only thing left is adblockers. Youtubers have to make sure their videos must not have lots of ads, this will irritate viewers and they will take adblocker.

It seems the problems have now appeared again and quite a few brands have left once again. Not good for content creators and it seems YouTube has increased the no. of ads on videos now to counter the problem of fewer advertisers.

I've earned a small amount of earnings from Adsense. However, when Adsense brung in the new YouTube requirements of having a minimum of 1000 subscribes, my channel doesn't meet the new criteria so I was unable to continue to make money. As of today, I'm working towards the new requirments and as of now I have 485 subs on my channel.

I have now met the 1000 subscribers and 4000 watch hour requirement that YouTube introduced. I applied for monetization a few days and got approved fairly quickly. I'm so excited for my future earnings that my channel will gain me!
