We might still be quite a while away from the release of Cyberpunk 2077 but that doesn’t mean we have to stay in the dark regarding certain aspects of the upcoming game.

It has been revealed that Night City in Cyberpunk 2077 will feature a whole host of people that you can fight including the police, gang members and even some wealthy corporate men. But you can’t just fight everyone it seems because some limits have been put in place which will mean that you can’t do whatever you want to kids or NPCs that are important to the story of the game.

The information comes courtesy of Reddit user masoncool4566 who wondered if “we will be able to kill regular people”. And CD Projekt Red responded with the following:

“Hey there – you won’t be able to attack children or NPCs connected with the plot but other than that you can be aggressive towards most people you meet 😉”

And according to an email response to PC Gamer, you won’t be able to fight everyone in the game and get away with it. Certain actions will come with additional consequences. For example, you can expect a heavy handed response if you decide to go up against some gang members or want to start up a fight in a police-controlled area.

It’s yet to be confirmed whether the police response will be to take you in or if you’ll simply be gunned down as you would in most other open world games.
