Verdansk 84 Unveiled As Brand New Warzone Season 3 Map

The latest Call of Duty Season is here for both Black Ops Cold War and Warzone, and with it arrives a brand-new map for Warzone, Verdansk ’84.
The map that players have become accustomed to since the launch of Warzone has disappeared after a nuclear blast helped wipe out the zombie population and outbreak on the map. To fit the narrative of Black Ops Cold War, Activision has decided to take the map all the way back to 1984.
Whilst the new map may not be a completely new and original update like most users would have become used to when playing other Battle Royale games like Fortnite, it still contains some unique and interesting changes including some retro interpretations of iconic Warzone locations.
Activision has worked hard to ensure that every building, surface, and object in Verdansk has been updated to help provide a fresh Warzone environment. The new Season has introduced another new Season to the map, Spring. This will be highlighted by the various cherry blossoms that line the streets, and the “vivid green flora” that helps make the map a “newly vibrant destination”.
Not only have some of the existing locations been updated with new points of interest, but players will also be able to enjoy a few new areas including the Karst Salt Mines, the Gora summit, and the Grid Array, a brand-new area filled with giant metal towers that can be climbed and traversed. Be careful about staying up there for too long though, as the location will be visible from almost anywhere else on the map.
