EA has announced that a brand new update will be coming very soon to the world of Need for Speed Payback alongside a brand new DLC.

And for those eager fans that complained about some cars not being in the game for players yet being raced around by Street Leagues, the Mazda RX-7 Spirit R, Volvo 242DL, Volvo Amazon P130, Plymouth Barracuda, Nissan Skyline 2000 GTR and the BMW M3 Evolution II E30 will be added one by one. Players will be able to obtain the cars by finding the car on the map and then escaping the cops to then be able to buy it from one of the dealerships dotted around the map.

But that's not all, a brand new game mode will also be arriving to the online portion of the game. Dubbed, drift runs, up to eight players will be able to take part in events similar to the singleplayer Drift Trail events. BMW lovers will also be given something to be happy about, with various new BMW performance parts being added for the M4 GTS, M5, X6M and the M2.
