It's not much of a surprise when you consider how popular Rainbow Six Siege continues to be, but we now have confirmation from Ubisoft for Year 3 of Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege.

Ubisoft made the announcement after the Rainbow Six Siege Season 3 Pro League Final that took place in Sao Paulo and finished yesterday, having started on the 17th of November. Year 3 will be structured into four different seasons, similar to the past two years and will include: 8 brand new operators from the world's highly performing CTUs, 2 brand new maps set in Italy and Morocco and 1 existing map will receive a makeover with a new level design and art direction.

The first season of Year 3 will be known as Operation Chimera and will see two new operators, one from France and one from Russia added to the Rainbow Six team. Both operators have a background in bioterrorism containment which gives us a slight clue about a brand new co-op event coming to the game, Mission: Outbreak. Could we be looking at zombies in Rainbow Six?

Are you looking forward to Year 3 of Rainbow Six Siege?
