PlayStation Plus subscribers have had to wait a while for the monthly free games announcement from Sony and it looks like they will have to wait another day before finding out what games they will be able to enjoy for free in November. But Sony, during it's Paris Games Week Showcase, did have some good news for players.

The beta for Monster Hunter: World will be available exclusively for PlayStation Plus subscribers. The beta will be available to download and play from the 9th of December until the 12th of December 2017.

“Monster Hunter: World is rapidly approaching its release, and we’re bringing you a taste of the thrill of the hunt even sooner with our online Beta for PS4 coming up in December, exclusively for PlayStation Plus users!”

Players will have the opportunity to explore the "dangerous locales of the new world" with up to three friends and will be able to hunt "a Great Jagras and an Anjanath in the Ancient Forest, and a Barroth in the Wildspire Waste". Weapons, healing, buffing and trapping items will also be available for use in the beta.

Monster Hunter: World will be released on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on the 26th of January 2018. Will you be looking forward to the game?
