With the release of Days Gone only two days away and with most pre-orders now on the way to players, post-release content has been revealed that will surely excite players.

The developer, Sony Bend Studio revealed the plans for the content on the official PlayStation blog. The post-release content will kick off in June of this year and will see a brand new difficulty mode and new challenges arriving in the game for free. Content, whether free or not after that hasn't been confirmed at this moment.

The new difficulty mode, “Survival”, will see players testing their survival skills by trying to beat the story with a significant increase in difficulty. Players will not have access to fast travel or Survival Vision. Additionally, maps and indicators from the gameplay screen will be removed.

Beating the new difficulty mode will not just be for your pride as players will be able to earn brand new trophies and unique bike skins that can be showcased in the photo mode.

And beginning from the first week in June, a brand new bike, horde or combat challenge will be released for players to test their skills further. These challenges will “take key gameplay features of Days Gone, and twists them in unique ways to earn additional items and rewards”, with more information regarding what these challenges may be will be shared later on.

All Days Gone players will have access to the new additions as long as they have an active internet connection to download the updates.
