Pokémon Go Changes Help Accommodate Players During Lockdown

One game that will definitely be impacted by the current events is Pokémon Go and it looks like Niantic want to help players during the lockdown.

With many countries now requiring their citizens to stay in their homes and avoid unnecessary trips outdoors, Pokémon Go has already had a few changes to help accommodate this with increased spawns etc. And now, players will be able to benefit from the following changes:

  • 3x XP and 3x Stardust from your first Pokémon catch of the day. Activate a Star Piece and Lucky Egg to ensure that you maximise your rewards.
  • Gifts – Gifts that can be opened daily has been increased to 30. In addition, the number of gifts that you can carry in your inventory will increase to 20. These gifts will also contain more Poké Balls.
  • Special PokéCoin bundles – These special bundles cost just 1 PokéCoin and will be available in the shop as one-time purchases (one bundle per week). Each week, a different bundle will be made available that currently features 100 Poké Balls. This bundle will be available until the 30th of March.

These won’t be the only changes either with Niantic hoping to add more changes and features that can help players all over the globe soon.

Are you happy with the current Pokémon Go changes? And what other changes would you like to be made by Niantic? Leave your thoughts in the comments below.
