The month of November is approaching us fast and Sony have announced the latest gaming titles to join the PlayStation Plus Games which will include Nioh and Outlast 2. The brutal action-RPG and the psychological horror would have been a perfect choice for Halloween but alas, players will need to wait until November to play both games.
Nioh is a “visceral, action-driven adventure” that will see players hone in on their skills, upgrade their weapons and showcase their perseverance and mastery as they go against some ancient Japanese demons.
Players will have a chance to use swords, spears, shuriken, bows, rifles, powerful elemental magic as they become a samurai warrior to “liberate a guardian spirit from the clutches of a power-hungry sorcerer”.
The free game has come at a perfect time, with the release of Nioh 2 confirmed as being the 13th of March 2020. The game has an open beta that will be open from the 1st of November to the 10th of November. The sequel to the game is set to feature some new elements including an extensive character customization feature, a new weapon and much more!
A psychological horror that would have been the perfect game to play on Halloween, Outlast 2 will see you fight for survival as you try to rescue your kidnapped wife from a deranged cult.
“Having narrowly escaped death in a helicopter crash, set out into the rundown village of Temple Gate and do your best to avoid its crazed inhabitants as you fight to locate your partner.”
As with every announcement, both games will only be available to download from the 5th of November until the 3rd of December. That gives gamers time to download the games for the month of October – The Last of Us Remastered and MLB: The Show 19.
Are you looking forward to trying out either Nioh or Outlast 2? Or is this another month where you won’t be downloading either game? Leave your thoughts in the comments below.
