Redd will be selling in-game art and furniture. To make it more interesting and similar to previous games, players will need to work out whether the art pieces are real or fake. Genuine artwork can be donated to the island museum which opens an art gallery.

Nintendo has also gone ahead and released information on the upcoming seasonal events that will take place in-game which includes

Nature Day (23rd April to 4th May)

During this seasonal event, Nook Miles challenges will be available that focus on nature-inspired goals which can range from planting trees to watering flowers.

May Day Tour (1st May to 7th May)

A one-time May Day Ticket can be used at the island airport which will allow players to head out on a limited-time tur of an island that looks different than the usual mystery island tours. “A special visitor who looks familiar might also be there”.

International Museum Day (18th May to 31st May)

“To celebrate International Museum Day, players can take part in a Stamp Rally. After receiving a special stamp card, players can enjoy viewing fish, insects, and fossils while collecting stamps at the various museum exhibits to earn an in-game reward.”

Wedding Season (1st June to 30th June)

Weddings may be cancelled for a while in real life but that doesn’t mean you have to miss out on them. Players can visit Harvey’s Island to meet the married couple Reese and Cyrus. Take anniversary photos with them to gain wedding-themed items.

This update will be available to download from the 23rd of April.
