Minecraft Overtaken by Roblox With 100 Million Monthly Users

Roblox has announced that it has hit an amazing 100 million monthly active users which means that it has now overtaken Minecraft.

According to Microsoft, Minecraft had 91 million monthly players back in March. The news won’t affect Minecraft too much especially with Minecraft growing in popularity once again with a large number of content creators returning to the game recently. Additionally, with the launch of Minecraft Earth not too far off, it won’t be long before Minecraft returns to the top spot.

And to celebrate the outstanding achievement, for a limited time, the Goldrow item will be free until the 16th of August. The shoulder accessory can be redeemed right now from the Roblox Catalog.

The revelation of the new milestones comes just a week before the annual Roblox Developers Conference which usually brings together hundreds of designers, scripters, builders and artists to unveil many upcoming innovations and changes to the game.

Roblox is an online platform that allows players to experience a vast range of user-created experiences. Additionally, with the ability to customize their own unique avatar and the ability to play with both friends and strangers, the aim of Roblox is to be a collaborative and connected community.

Are you one of the 100 million monthly users on Roblox? Or are you more of a Minecraft gamer? Leave your thoughts in the comments below.
