Infinity Ward Release COD: MW Community Update

Posted Feb 02, 2020 by DarthHazard

As promised, Infinity Ward has released another Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Community Update and shared some news on what we can expect over the coming weeks.

The first subject to discuss was the few problems that players on all platforms have been experiencing. The biggest and most troublesome issue was that some players had their record stats reset. This reset custom loadouts, Operator customizations, Killstreaks, Field Upgrade selections and combat records. Players should have their combat records now back to normal. However, everything else won’t be restored and players will need to set those up again.

Players on PS4 have been experiencing issues with the Spec Ops DLC which would become stuck in a download loop. This can be resolved by following the instructions on the Activision Support website.

Additionally, anyone missing their Season 0 emblem that they gained by completing officer challenges has been resolved. All players who gained the emblem should now have it on their account.

Over the next coming days, players should expect some new game modes and playlists. 2v2 Grind has been teased. Additionally, we “may” get a playlist for both Shipment 24/7 and Shoot 24/7 at the same time! So if you like one map but not the other, then this should keep you happy for some time!

Players should also expect 2XP, 2X Weapon XP and 2X Tiers over the next week as we get closer to the end of the first season.

As you may already know, the Outback Relief Pack was used as a donation drive to provide relief to the devastating Australian bushfires. This has now ended, and we should expect to know how much was raised next week.

Are you looking forward to the 2X Tier event next week? And have you had any issues with Modern Warfare over the last few weeks? Leave your thoughts in the comments below.
