Epic Games' have released the patch notes for Update V.2.1.0 which brings the much-awaited campfires to the game and various different bug fixes.

The latest addition to the game is the Cozy Campfire, which allows players to "gather around the fire with friends and heal up before your next battle". The healing based item will be a trap and needs to be placed on the floor. Lasting 25 seconds, the item will allow any player near it to heal 2HP per second.

Also being added this patch is NVIDIA ShadowPlay Highlights (PC Only)
“Introducing ShadowPlay Highlights from NVIDIA! No longer will your friends have to “take your word” when you tell them about that mountain sliding snipe headshot. ShadowPlay will save plays automatically by default. You are also able to manually configure which plays get saved and customize it to fit your style. NVIDIA ShadowPlay Highlights is supported for all PC gamers using GeForce GTX 650 and above graphics cards.”

Various different adjustments and bug fixes have also been made this update. The infamous Boogie Bomb's effect will now be removed "upon taking any damage". The notorious "phantom bullet sounds that are sometimes heard throughout a match" has also been reportedly fixed. And for those players (including me) who were always passing "through their recently build and edited structures", this also been reportedly fixed!

The update has already been released for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation with the servers taken offline at around 9PM GMT and brought back online within a few minutes. Will you be looking forward to the new Cozy Campfire? The full patch notes can be found here.
