Fortnite May Eventually Arrive For The Switch

It seems that Fortnite may eventually arrive for the Nintendo Switch after a particular tweet from Donald Mustard, worldwide creative director of Epic Games.

The tweet was in response to a question put forward by Twitter user @ahyperteddybear who was interested in playing Fortnite on the Switch. And the simple response gives a massive indication that Fortnite fans may be to enjoy the game on the Nintendo Switch as well alongside PC, PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One.

Although not an official announcement or statement, it surely is good news for the millions of Switch owners who have been hoping for the popular game to finally arrive for their console. With it's closest rival, PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds still not being available for the PlayStation 4, it would make a lot of sense for Epic Games to quickly gather the console market for the Battle Royale mode.

A release date or even the start of development for the Switch version may be a long time away, however. Epic Games have been focusing on the development of brand new content and fixing the various problems with the game in the past few months. They may want to ensure the game is ready and near perfect before wanting to work on the Fortnite version for the Switch.

Would you want to play Fortnite on the Nintendo Switch?
