Duos and supply drops have been introduced to Fortnite Battle Royale, with the new update available in Europe and North America. Duos will allow players to team up with another player rather than going it alone or in a squad of four.

Supply drops were present in the game previously but were bugged, with Epic Games admitting that they could "quite stick the landing". But fortunately, the issues have been resolved and the drops will now take place in the game. Drops are now also much more likely to contain rare items and weapons.

Fortnite has been growing rapidly since it's launch on console, thanks to the lack of other Battle Royale type games on console. Fortnite announced yesterday (3rd of October 2017) that they had just surpassed 7 million users!
