Fortnite Battle Royale Winterfest 2019 Begins

Posted Dec 20, 2019 by DarthHazard

As we get closer to Christmas, Epic Games is turning on the festive spirit up to the max by introducing Winterfest 2019 for Fortnite Battle Royale with free gifts, new challenges and much more.

The first big addition you will notice is the brand-new snowflake tab when you login and are staring at the in-game lobby. And when you visit this brand-new tab, your eyes will be met with two new outfits, two new gliders, two new pickaxes, two new wraps, an emote and more. And what do you have to spend to get these new festive items? Nothing. That’s right, all these great presents have been made available to everyone to receive for FREE.

Make sure to log in to claim these as they are exclusive to Winterfest 2019. And if you miss any days, make sure to come back before the 7th of January to open the presents.

But that’s not it. In the Winterfest Lodge, you will be able to find some stockings hanging on the fireplace. Each day, a new challenge will be made available to you. These can be completed for rewards and XP. Just like the presents, if you log in before the 7th of January, you will be able to “grab all the goodies waiting for you”.

Prepare to feel nostalgic this Winterfest as Epic will be releasing a whole host of old weapons and limited time modes. Certain weapons will be unvaulted as we progress through Winterfest. And from the 18th of December until the 2nd of January, a new LTM will be available every day including Wick’s Bounty, Arsenal and more.

Are you excited for Winterfest 2019? And what returning weapon or limited time mode are you looking forward to the most?
