As more offices and schools from around the world close, Fortnite is seeing an increase in gamers. And that means it’s the perfect time to get stuck into the latest challenges that have arrived as part of the Fortnite 12.21 update.

As with most Fortnite updates now, patch notes have not been released. However, players shouldn’t expect much as this is a smaller update that will be mostly bug fixes and performances fixes.

The new Operation: Knockout mode is now available for players to drop into. Additionally, a whole host of new challenges have been added. These limited-time challenges from King Oro will get you some great rewards on completion.

These challenges include:

• Assist teammates with 10 eliminations
• Play 10 games with a friend
• Deal 1000 damage to opponents
• Collect 40 medals

Completing each of these challenges will grant you an eye-watering 100,000 XP. Additionally, completing them will also help you unlock the new Greed Wrap and Gilded Scepter Pickaxe for free.

A brand new Legendary outfit is also available from the Item Shop. Dubbed, Oro Outfit, the “fabled golden skeleton has come to finally claim his kingdom”. This outfit will also include the Radiant Mantle Back Bling. Players can also choose to purchase the new Skellon Glider from the Item Shop.

Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 2 will end in April so players have plenty of time to complete their Battle Pass and get in on all the action.
