Fall Guys Servers Down As Team Prepares For Weekend

Posted Aug 07, 2020 by DarthHazard

The Fall Guys servers are down once again as the developers prepare for the first weekend since the game was released to the public on the 4th of August.

The game has been plagued by server problems with the servers being taken down multiple times the past few days to ensure they can handle the increasing number of players.

The latest update from the dedicated Fall Guys server status Twitter account was posted at around 19:20 BST and confirmed that the team were still working “super hard on getting things all prepped for the weekend”.

An estimated time hasn’t been shared but the team has promised that they will “let you know as soon as things have stabilised and you’re good to hop back in!”.

The downtime comes after an earlier outage as well where the servers were taken offline for some more maintenance and where some optimizations and enhancements were also pushed. The servers were improved and custom player names were disabled on Steam temporarily.

An exploit that allowed players to hack their crowns and kudos count on PC was also fixed.

Are you frustrated with the regular server problems? Have you had a chance to play Fall Guys yet? Leave your thoughts in the comments below.
