Destiny 2 Free Trial Begins Today

Posted Nov 28, 2017 by DarthHazard

Bungie has revealed that players will be able to try out the game with a free trial of Destiny 2 starting today (28th November 2017).

The free trial version will contain all multiplayer features and will allow players to try out some of the game's campaign to get a true feel for the game. All progression made during the free trial will be carried into the full game if players decide to purchase the full version of Destiny 2.

As expected, the free trial does have some limits to what you can experience of the game. Character progression will be limited to level seven and you will only be able to explore "two vast worlds": the European Dead Zone and the Moon of Saturn, Titan. If you are brave enough to try some competitive multiplayer then you will be able to "battle other players in the Crucible with full access to the Quickplay playlist".

The free trial is currently available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Players can download the game from their retrospective game store or from Battle.net. Will you be trying out the free trial?

  • I already own the game! hehe But this is a cool idea. I haven't played it for awhile, but I'm sure I will soon.
