It has been a long wait for another Crash Bandicoot game and fans won’t have to wait longer with the official announcement of Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time.

The game will continue on from the end of Crash Bandicoot: Warped which left Neo Cortex, Dr. N. Tropy and Uka Uka stranded on a distant planet. The trio will finally be able to make their escape, ripping a hole in the fabric of space-time in the process.

It won’t just be the usual gameplay that you haven’t gotten used to in previous Crash Bandicoot titles either. Players will see an “evolution of the Crash they know and love”, with new mechanics like wall-running, rail grinding and even rope swinging. Players will also have the chance to play as either Crash, Coco and even Neo Cortex in the upcoming title.

That wasn’t the only surprising news either. Activision has teamed up with Quavo who is a “Crash aficionado” to debut some exclusive gameplay via his social media accounts so keep an eye out for that today!

The game is set to be released on the 2^nd of October 2020 for both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One with a retail price of $59.99.
