The latest season of Fortnite might be coming to an end soon but that doesn’t mean the special Fortnite events stop. The latest, of course, is the 2^nd Birthday Bash!

It seems like it was just yesterday that we were spamming our controllers to eat some cake on the Fortnite Island but it really has been another wonderful year for the popular Battle Royale game. The latest Fortnite Birthday celebrations kick off today and will end on the 31^st of July 2019 giving you plenty of time to celebrate with your friends.

A few of the smaller changes to the island include present supply drops, birthday cakes dotted around the map and even a brand new gift item that you can toss towards anyone on your squad.

A brand new set of challenges have also been added to Battle Royale including:

• Play 10 Matches – Frosted Wrap
• Dance in front of 10 different Birthday Cakes – B-Day Beats Music
• Outlast 500 Opponents – This Many Spray
• Gain 50 health or shield from Birthday Cakes – Birthday Cupcake Emoticon

And completing all 4 challenges will give you access to the Birthday Slice Harvesting tool.

Additionally, another addition are Birthday Presents. These are legendary items that will be a temporary addition during the Birthday Bash celebrations and can be found as floor loot and from chests, vending machines, supply drops and llamas.

Also added recently with the v9.31 content update patch was the Storm Scout Sniper Rifle. The new sniper rifle has an embedded weather map while scooping in that will display upcoming storm circles before they are revealed on the mini map so that you can be one step ahead of the rest.

The rifle is available as an epic and legendary variant and will deal 81/85 damage (202/212 headshot).
