With a lot of businesses now turning Black Friday into a week-long event, it is no surprise to see that Black Friday had a huge impact on the UK Gaming sales chart.
The sales chart has seen a lot of older titles rise through the charts after heavy discounts at several retailers. But this effect was still not enough to take Call of Duty: World War 2 down from the number one position. The game has continued to sell well, with the fact that the game is included in a lot of console bundles also helping it remain at the top spot.
Sales of games rose by around 89% during Black Friday week. And According to Chart-Track, this has been the most successful Black Friday for retailers so far, with sales rising around 3% from last year. Bethesda had a particularly good Black Friday week, with both Fallout 4 and Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus doing quite well. Fallout 4 rose from 23rd to 9th in the charts.
