Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Battle Royale Details Datamined

Rumours have been circulating the world wide web with information about a potential Battle Royale mode arriving for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare at some point. And now a dataminer on Reddit has shared everything he has found on the rumoured game mode.

Whilst we may have to wait a little longer before the developers announce what their plans are for the game, the dataminer has managed to find information regarding the different zones, points of interests, options and even the respawn feature.

One new feature will be respawning, which has been a somewhat popular feature in other Battle Royale games including Apex Legends and Fortnite. Respawn tokens can be obtained via looting and will allow you to drop a players body near an ambulance. That player will then enter the Gulag queue where they have a chance to win a 1v1 and respawn into the match. The player will then need to find a Mobile Armory to get their loadout back.

Now if you don’t know what Gulag is, that’s because it’s a completely new feature arriving with the Battle Royale mode. The idea is that, whilst in the Gulag Queue, you will be able to spectate other players fighting in the Gulag. Once it’s your turn, you will need to win the 1v1 to respawn. Once in awhile, there will be a Jail Break which will allow all players in the Gulag (fighting or spectating) to respawn into the match.

Points of interests in the game will include a Bank, Fire Station, Gas Station, Gun Store, a Pharmacy and a Police Station.

And if that wasn’t enough to tell you that this Battle Royale mode is going to be special, it is rumoured that the player count will be an outstanding 200 players! Yes, that is two hundred players fighting each other. You will be able to play solo, duos or even squads (4 players).

Of course, it’s important to remember that these are just rumours and datamined information. Certain aspects may be different and it’s always important to remember that dataminers aren’t always correct.

Are you looking forward to playing the rumoured Battle Royale game mode? Or will you be sticking to the normal multiplayer game modes? Leave your thoughts in the comments below.
